PuTTY Toturial

Download PuTTy (ssh client) from here:
http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.exe

To enter the server with putty:
Start PuTTy. Enter the server's IP address and click ok. Enter your Username and Password.

Your server folder can be found on the filesystem named "eathena"

To start your server, Type in the Terminal "cd /eathena" without the quotes. Then type "./athena-start start".

To stop your server type "./athena-start stop" and to restart type "./athena-start restart

To compile your server:
cd into your server folder and then type "./configure" and then "make all".

FAQ:

Q: Compiling isn't working
A: Type in your putty window. "cd /eathena" then type "chmod 777 configure"

Q: athena-start isn't working.
A: Download the "Athena-start" from a new eAthena Trunks SVN from eAthena's forums and place it in your server folder. Then type in your putty window. "cd /eathena" then type "chmod 777 athena-start"
